On reaching Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, you’ll be picked up by our representative who will transfer you to hotel. Check in to hotel, After getting some rest get ready to explore Gangtok.You can visit shopping streets or try out some mouth-watering Tibetan delicacies like Thukpa and momos. In the evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore more of Gangtok.
Places to visit :
• Tsongmo Lake - It is host to a number of migratory birds prominent among which are the Brahminy ducks. The migratory birds use the lake as a stopover on their way to the Indian plains from as far as Siberia during the winter months.
• Baba Harbhajan Mandir – Baba Harbhajan Singh was an Indian Soldier who died in 1968 near Nathula pass. This temple is dedicated to this soldier.
One can enjoy Pony or Yak rides during visit to these places
In the evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay
After breakfast at the hotel, checkout and proceed towards, Lachen. During the travel you can explore following places.
• Singhik View Point – Singhik is known for stunning views of Himalayan Ranges including Kanchenjunga as well as view of river Teesta.
• Chungthang Town - Chungthank valley is believed to be holy place which has been blessed by Guru Padmasmbhava, the patron saint of Sikkim.
• Seven Sisters Waterfalls
In the evening, check in to hotel at Lachen for dinner and overnight stay. Evening will be free for some local exploration and vibe with the destination.
After breakfast at the hotel, checkout and proceed towards Lachung. On the way be taken to the nomadic village of Thangu,
Next much awaited you will come across is The Chopta Valley..
Next is the Gurudongmar Lake. Later in evening return to Lachung for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Lachung.
Activities:
• Thangu Village - This village has always been famous for it architecture (wooden houses) accompanied by the mesmerising views of flowing Teesta river.
• Chopta Valley View - This valley is known for its surprizing landscapes, where on one side there are snow-capped mountains and on the other are placed the green pine forests accompanied by the rivers, which is icing on the cake. A heaven for the adventure seekers, the place is dotted with scenic landscapes draped in the snow on one side and the emerald green pine forests and the meandering rivers on the other side
• Gurudongmar – This lake is considered sacred by Budhists & Sikhs,which always surprises with the views of Himalayan ranges, no matter how often you travel to this place.
After breakfast, check-out and start your journey towards for the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary.
Places to visit
• Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary - Here you’ll find a variety of over 40 species of aromatic rhododendrons. This sanctuary houses more than 40 species of rhododendron flowers, for nature lovers this is the perfect place.
• Yumthang Valley - Valleys are covered with varieties of rhododendron flowers making it a perfect portrait painted by the nature itself. The colourful picture of the beautiful rhododendrons covering the large stretches of the valley is an extremely beautiful sight to behold.
In the evening, you will reach Gangtok. Check-in to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, pack your bags and our representative will drop at New Jalpaiguri
Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra airport (IXB) for onward journey.
